Bioinformatics is a new scientific discipline that merges biology, computer science, mathematics, and others into a broad-based field that will have profound impacts on all fields of biology. It is the comprehensive application of mathematics (e.g., probability and statistics), science (e.g., biochemistry), and a core set of problem-solving methods (e.g., computer algorithms) to the understanding of living systems. The conference will be held from December 16 to December 19, 2004 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Four internationally renowned scientists will inform participants of major developments, problems, and trends and applications in Bioinformatics. The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) will provide two special tutorial sessions for all conference participants free of charge at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). You are cordially invited to submit your research paper(s) to this conference. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by the World Scientific Publishing Co. Nova
