Bicycle Bonanza

Thanks to all the sponsors, the South Broward Wheelers Bicycle Club donated 180 new bicycles and helmets to south Florida children during the 2006 holiday season.  Recipients of the bikes were children served by Women in Distress, ChildNet, Children’s Home Society, The Village, Community Enhancement Collaboration, and Covenant House.  Several foster families also received bicycles for children in their care.  Since 2002, SBW has donated 650 bicycles and helmets to children in the tri-county area.
